Description

This is my first light shot with a new William Optics FLT 132 - I have to say I am really impressed with the scope. I did a side by side with by Edge HD 8 and the difference was really quite marked. Of course it should be for 3x the price!

The image is roughly 10 hours of SHO taken with the FLT 132 and Flat 8 at f5 (~650 mm fl) and ASI 2600 MM with ZWO filters

Ha - 20 By 600 s

S2 - 18 by 600 s

I am very new to SHO image processing but found an excellent article on using PS (bf-astro.com/hubblep.htm). I created an action file based on the article and played around with the initial balance until it looked about right when I ran the action. I then used layers to apply fractions of the action until I was happy. Anyway it seemed to help.
